These Terms govern the Runner 1 app and Runner 1 Plus service provided by Ongrit Company (“Ongrit,” “we,” or “us”). They apply when you use Runner 1 services.
1. These Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA
Your license to use the Runner 1 software distributed through the App Store is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
These Terms govern the Runner 1 features and services we provide, including Runner 1 Plus. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA concerning the software license, Apple’s Standard EULA controls.
2. The Runner 1 service
Runner 1 uses the running records and current conditions you permit it to access to provide workout history, running suggestions, pace strategies, voice feedback, and workout analysis. Some features may require access to Apple Health or location, a network connection, or an Apple Watch.
Minors should use the service only with a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision. See our Privacy Policy for information about data processing.
3. Health, safety, and AI
Runner 1 is not a medical device or medical service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or professional medical advice. Running suggestions and AI-generated analysis or guidance may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be your sole basis for health or safety decisions.
Consider your health and surroundings before exercising. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or another concerning symptom, and seek medical advice when appropriate.
4. Runner 1 Plus subscriptions
Runner 1 Plus is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription through the App Store.
- The App Store information shown at purchase controls the included features, price, currency, subscription period, and availability of any free trial.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to the selected paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the current subscription period ends.
- Payments, subscription management, cancellation, and refunds follow Apple’s policies and your App Store account settings.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
5. Use and changes to the service
You must not use the service to violate the law or another person’s rights, or interfere with the security, stability, or normal operation of the app or service.
We may change or temporarily suspend features when reasonably necessary for improvement, security, legal, or operational reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of a material change to the core of a paid service.
6. Responsibility and consumer rights
We work to provide a reliable service, but device, network, third-party service, or data-quality conditions may interrupt a feature or cause it to work differently than expected.
Our responsibility is determined to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under consumer protection or other applicable law.
7. Governing law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. We will first try to resolve disputes in good faith; unresolved disputes will follow the procedures and courts provided by applicable law.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or law. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the app, website, or another appropriate channel.
